What is so special about the Mayan Calendar?

The person with no previous exposure to the Mayan Calendar will usually initially be surprised by the fact that some people today take such an interest in an ancient calendar. After all, human history has seen a high number of different calendars. Is not then the Mayan calendar just a very specialized subject of interest only to specialists or history buffs? “Why would the world today need another calendar than the Gregorian or Muslim that are currently in use, and why should this be the Mayan calendar?” some may ask.

Well, to begin with most people probably have a much too limited view of the importance of the Mayan civilization, and Native American traditions generally. In fact, at their height in the 5th to 9th centuries AD, the Mayan cities would be among the largest in the world and developed the most advanced mathematics and astronomy of their day. And so, even if the Native American civilizations hardly survived the later contact with the Europeans they were and are the carriers of a significant and irreplaceable part of the global human consciousness.

When we talk about the Mayan Calendar something profoundly different is also meant than just a system to mark off the passage of time. The Mayan Calendar is above all a prophetic calendar that may help us understand the past and foresee the future. It is a calendar of the Ages that describes how the progression of Heavens and Underworlds condition the human consciousness and thus the frames for our thoughts and actions within a given Age. The Mayan Calendar provides an exact schedule for the Cosmic Plan and the unfolding of all things that come into existence. There is now ample empirical evidence for this, something that shines new light on the age old questions of mankind. Things do exist for a reason. The reason is that they fit into the divine cosmic plan. For those that seriously engage in a study of the Mayan Calendar this soon becomes evident and the former materialist world view loses all relevance. The Mayan Calendar is a gateway to the worlds of consciousness which the majority of humanity has been blinded to through the use of false or delusory calendars.

Since everything that exists is an aspect of consciousness, and the Mayan Calendar describes the evolution of consciousness in all of its aspects, no stone is left unturned for the serious student of the Mayan Calendar. All of science is affected, all of religion is affected, all of life is affected. We are here for a reason. Time is no longer equated with money, but with spirit. Time is inspiration!

The Mayan Tzolkin Count or the Dreamspell ?

The Interest in the Mayan Calendar is Increasing Worldwide

During the past decade interest in the Calendars of the Maya has dramatically increased world-wide. Ultimately, this increasing interest is derived from the fact that a new consciousness of time is now emerging. A New Age gives rise to a new consciousness of time which in turn requires a new calendar for this to be expressed. This new consciousness of time is today commonly experienced either as if time is accelerating, or that it simply disappears. Maybe, in fact, the idea that time is a quantity is on its way out. "Why is this?" we may ask. Is it merely an illusion of ours that time is running faster or has our highly developed technological society developed so effective means of tele communications that everything is speeding up to a point where things almost become unbearable?

Another possibility is that the speed-up of time is real and caused by factors entirely outside of human control. Factors which in accordance with the divine plan proceed from a galactic level of creation and actually cause the emergence of a new age - a new age of time. There have been rumours that the year 1999 will mean a "time shift" and Edgar Cayce had predicted a "pole shift" "in the winter of 1998." Maybe then a polarity shift between Yin and Yang on a galactic scale will lead to the final breakthrough to a new consciousness of time.

Is Time an illusion?

As many spiritually evolved people have realized time is ultimately an illusion, but since it happens to be the very illusion that maintains our lives, it may be worth the effort to probe deeper into its mystery. As a tool to do so the calendar of the Maya has again come into use. Western astrology, which in principle is based on the study of endless repetitions of the cyclical movements of the celestial bodies with fixed periods of revolutions (fixed frequencies), could never logically explain the increased frequency of time. To understand the frequency increase we need to accept a concept of time which is independent of the movement of material bodies. We need to accept the concept of time of the Maya.

Anyone who takes an interest in the ancient culture of the Maya will soon realize that this people had an understanding of time which was vastly different from our own, and many have come to use it for their own spiritual evolution. But what then is the Mayan calendar?

It turns out this is not as unambiguous as one might think. The so called day keepers in Guatemala and Mexico use some twenty different calendars in parallel and over the ages these have undergone significant change. For instance, no inscriptions of the chronology of the ancient Maya, the so called Long Count starting on August 11, 3114 BC and ending on December 21, 2012, have been found that were made after the tenth century AD. Thus, we have reasons to suspect that also the consciousness of time of the Maya has undergone some significant change since the Classical culture reigned between AD 200 - 800. What this all means is that there hardly exists such a thing as a Mayan calendar cut in stone for us simply to assimilate without deeper thoughts or insights about the nature of the divine plan.

Dreamspell is a "New Age" - invented system

Regarding calendars used on a daily basis it was calendar - inspired by the Maya - launched by José Argüelles in 1990 that went by the name of Dreamspell that first came to be used in the modern world. José and his wife Lloydine asserted that the planet was threatened by an environmental catastrophe because of our use of the Gregorian calendar and as an alternative they suggested a calendar based on 13 Moons each of 28 days plus an extra day, July 25th, outside of time (13 x 28 + 1 = 365).

In their system the leap day every fourth solar year was simply ignored, apparently to keep the ideal of 13 x 28 intact. These Thirteen Moons were then linked to a special tzolkin count (260 different combinations of thirteen numbers and twenty different glyphs) in which each individual could find out what was his or her "Galactic Signature." The idea underlying the Dreamspell seems to have been that if human beings lived in phase with the natural cycles, in this case probably primarily the female cycle of about 28 days, we would treat the earth better and thus avoid an impending catastrophe. This idea may have attracted some, but certainly many more were attracted by the idea that the particular day they were born had an inherent energy described by their Galactic Signature, that is, tzolkin day. This latter idea certainly had support from the notions of the Maya, in principle.

There was however a problem with the Dreamspell, namely that the Maya had never used the particular tzolkin count that it was linked to. Many of the followers of Dreamspell, mostly for lack of knowledge, simply presented Dreamspell as The Mayan Calendar. In practice the result of this was that many individuals have been deluded into thinking that the Galactic Signature they had been assigned also was the one that the Maya would have used. As this was discovered something called The True Count Debate raged on the Internet in 1995 where especially John Major Jenkins energetically asserted that Argüelles count was false, and that it had never been used by the Mayan people themselves. In addition, there still existed a tzolkin count, the Classical, which was used over the entire Mesoamerican region in Classical times and had survived until today in the Highlands of Guatemala and elsewhere among the Mayan day keepers.

Jenkins stated, and I think rightly so, that Argüelles' followers had no right to present the Dreamspell count as the Calendar of the Maya and that it was a kind of Cultural imperialism to ignore the "surviving" Sacred Calendar that was still in use among the Maya.

Argüelles response to this criticism seems to have passed through two different phases. His initial response was to say that he had received his calendar by divine revelation. Since he saw himself as an incarnation of Pacal Votan, a Mayan king who ruled in Palenque in the seventh century AD, everything he did was in accordance with the divine plan. To my knowledge he never responded in a direct way to the issues raised. It seems however that the attitude of the Argüelles' changed in 1998 and José became more open to the criticism. Following a meeting with Quiché elder Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj at Spring Equinox 1998 he declared that the Dreamspell and the Classical Maya tzolkin counts were equally valid and that no conflict existed between the two. Later, he claimed in an interview that Dreamspell was really not a Mayan calendar, although he still asserted its value.

And this later position is obviously perfectly legitimate. As long as it is not claimed that the Dreamspell count has been used by the Maya anyone is in his right to assert its possible value, if any. As we discuss a new calendar for the future, for the new age, I believe however that what is most important is to specify what is the purpose of this calendar and chronology. Unless we do so we may either run into the kind of pie throwing that was typical of the True Count Debate, or resign to a attitude that has become common today, to claim that "anything goes," that there really is no such thing as a True Count and that all there is are our individual truths (But then, if there is no True Count, what value would any particular tzolkin count really have?).

In contrast to these resigned thoughts I feel that when it comes to developing a Mayan calendar useful to chart our future it is important to realize the predominant role of the tzolkin in such a project. It also seems that without exception Mayan day keepers maintain that the tzolkin count is the hub around which all other calendrical cycles turn, and it is for this reason that, although it has sometimes been lost, the tzolkin count is not known ever to have been intentionally reformed.

Tzolkin - The Master Calendar and center wheel

The tzolkin has been regarded as the master calendar around which all the others revolve. If it is true that the tzolkin count plays such a crucial role, then the consequence would be that if we desert it our calendrical system may end up anywhere. Unless we respect the Sacred Calendar - and its divine origin - there will be no hub keeping the various other calendars linked. To make a clear example of this: Many people have become fascinated by the fact that the Mayan Long Count ends in the year 2012, sensing that this may be a time of fundamental importance to humanity. And, in fact, the Mayan Long Count is a fairly exact calibration of a certain process of evolution of the human consciousness. This calendar is however linked to a certain tzolkin count, the Classical, meaning that it is only those that respect this hub of the calendars that will be in phase with the particular evolution of consciousness that the Long Count describes. If we instead chose to use another tzolkin count than the Classical, such as the Dreamspell, we will not be able to logically integrate the divine creation cycles in our thinking and we will thus miss the whole point with the spiritual calendars of the Maya - the possibility of being in phase with the ascension of humanity.

What then is the purpose of calendars? During the last 5000 years they have had an important purpose in aiding people to keep track of the agricultural year. For this purpose a calendar based on astronomical observations, and the exact estimation of the duration of the solar year, 365.242 years, seems natural. It has thus for agricultural reasons been necessary to arrive at a very exact estimate of the astronomical year and to keep each day of the year frozen with regard to the place the earth then occupies in its orbit around the sun. Such a calendar is useful for telling us when to sow and harvest, etc, and the Gregorian calendar for one fulfils this purpose very well. The same may be said also about a frozen haab, which is a Mayan calendar that is made up of eighteen uinals of twenty days plus the five extra days, the vayeb, when the gods rested (18 x 20 + 5 = 365). The Thirteen Moons of Dreamspell (13 x 28 + 1) fulfils the purpose of a calendar for the seasonal changes equally well. But it is certainly questionable if either the haab or the Thirteen Moons has anything to offer that goes beyond the Gregorian calendar when it comes to following the seasons or in aiding agriculture. I would say they do not.

Time is now accelerating

In addition to calendars for the agricultural year, and a number of astronomical calendars describing the movements of the various planets, the ancient peoples of this planet however also had a divine calendar which was founded on the 360 day year. Among the Maya this period of time was called a tun, which was also the foundation of their Long Count. But the same period of time exists under different names in all of the major ancient cultures on earth; it is found among the Chinese, in India, among the Sumerians and Egyptians and the Jews. It also existed in the ancient cultures of Europe, e.g. in Scandinavia and Italy. In the Book of Revelation, the most important prophetic scripture of the Christian religion, we may with some detective work find out that as this was written 360 days was considered as a "time".

Maybe then the ancient peoples of this planet were able to see something that for the most part we ourselves have become blind to, since they rather generally seem to have been using a holy calendar based on the 360 days in parallel with the agricultural calendar of 365 days. There is not space here to provide the evidence that the time period of 360 days is a key unit for the evolution of consciousness, but briefly it can be said that increasingly higher levels of human consciousness evolve according to rhythms given by different multiples of the tun . Thus, the frequency of creation step by step increases with each new level of consciousness in a pyramidal structure. Only calendars that are constructed in accordance with such a hierarchical structure of time cycles can create an understanding of the evolution of consciousness, while calendars that are based on an endless repetition of for instance the 28 day period or the 365 day period will always ultimately lead to a linear concept of time. Regardless of their duration an endless repetition of cycles will always result in a linear concept of time.

To return to the issue of the Dreamspell calendar it is a highly telling detail that this simply omits the leap day every fourth year. What this would mean is that in Argüelles view this particular day would lack a special tzolkin energy of its own and thus not be a part of the divine plan, since ultimately the tzolkin is a microcosm of this plan. While this may seem like a small detail, it highlights that in the Dreamspell concept of time matter is considered as primary to consciousness rather than the other way around. Or in other words, when the movements of matter does not quite fit Argüelles 13 x 28 + 1 scheme, it is the evolution of consciousness, the divine plan as expressed through the tzolkin count that is sacrificed, rather than the scheme. In reality, of course, the leap day is also part of the divine plan and of the energy sequence of the true tzolkin (although this is not expressed by the Dreamspell count to begin with). In my own opinion the divine plan is much more important for our spiritual evolution than the movements of matter, in this particular case the astronomical year.

The new phase in the evolution of consciousness that will start with the inception of the Galactic Creation Cycles on January 5, 1999 will not only carry a new consciousness of time, but also the return of Christ consciousness and the ascension of humanity to a higher consciousness. Since this process is not based on anything physical (In the new world view matter will be considered as secondary to consciousness and everything material that exists in the universe will be recognized as a manifestation of consciousness) it is not possible to use astronomical (365 days) or biological (28 days) cycles to describe its evolution. Following calendars based on the material reality, such as the Gregorian, the haab or the Thirteen Moons, can only result in people getting stuck in materialist concepts of time and remaining blind to the divine plan.

Those that look for a calendar that describes the evolution of consciousness should rather seek to follow a calendar based on the Classical 260 day tzolkin and the 360 day tun, cycles that have a purely spiritual origin. The tzolkin and the divine creation cycles based on the 360 day-"year" (which includes a range of time cycles, hablatuns, alautuns, kinchiltuns, kalabtuns, pictuns, baktuns and katuns each corresponding to the development of a specific frame of consciousness) describe the galactic vibrations that emanate from the invisible branches of the World Tree (the Milky Way). What is central in the divine process of creation is that its evolution proceeds as a result of Seven pulses of light interspersed by six periods of darkness, something which has been described by Sumerians, Babylonians, Jews, Christians and Muslims, but also hinted at by the Maya and Aztecs.

On the 5th of January 1999 such a process of creation consisting of thirteen tun will begin which will endow the human beings with a galactic frame of consciousness. The increasingly more rapid, and higher, vibrations that emanate from the World Tree will lead not only to an altered consciousness of time, but also to a new experience on our own part of colors, sounds and the existence of higher spiritual dimensions. The level of consciousness that this divine creation cycle gives rise to is the consciousness of the new age, the galactic consciousness, a frame of life we are just in the beginning of grasping. It is a calendar which describes the emergence of this new consciousness that we need in the new age of time - as the frequency increase gives time a new age.

Update on the approach to The Fifth day of

the Galactic Underworld

The current situation

We are now approaching the Fifth day, beginning on November 24, 2006, and the ensuing energies of Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca of the Galactic Underworld. These energies are likely to generate the chaos from which the new world of oneness will be born as we come to the completion of all the Underworlds by October 28, 2011. As I wrote in the article posted on my web site in November of last year, the first half of the Fourth night, November 29, 2005 to May 27, 2006, would be a relatively uneventful time that would be well suited for integration of what had happened in the preceding Fourth day. For the second half of this night, May 28 – November 24, 2006, the time period that we are in now, I however forecasted that new events would be occurring that prepared for the change that would be brought by the Breakthrough energy of the Fifth day. Using comparisons I pointed to the example, among others, of how the Russian revolution of 1905, shortly after the midpoint of the Fourth night of the Planetary Underworld, heralded the fall of the autocratic empires (including the Russian) that came about as a result of World War I after the breakthrough energy of Quetzalcoatl set in in this Underworld in 1913.

In our current Galactic Underworld we are now at a time corresponding to 1905-1906 in the Planetary (see figure), and it seems obvious that the relatively calm time for integration is over. Instead, in the past few weeks we have witnessed things that very likely herald the tumultuous era that will follow as the breakthrough energy sets in with the Fifth day. I feel I have been very accurate in forecasting this basic rhythm of the evolution of the current year and you may take note that this would not have been possible without using a correct end date, October 28, 2011. I would like to add here that the Mayan calendar does not say that in a certain time period this or that will happen in concrete terms. What we have in order to help us predict the future are Underworlds – predetermined sequences of energies that play out according to exact schedules. However, the predictions are conditioned by the intuition and background of the person who makes them. Thus, I recommend that you evaluate the reliability of predictions said to be based on the Mayan calendar by seeing how accurate the person making them has been in the past. Those who claim that the Mayan calendar ends December 21, 2012, however usually do not even put themselves to the test. What prophetic value does the Mayan calendar then have?

As signs of the intensification of the course of events the past week or so we have thus seen a tsunami, a report of a record number of killings in Iraq, a resurgence of Taliban fighting, missile tests in North Korea, bombings in Mumbai, a record oil price and a G-8 meeting in St Petersburg pointing to the return of Russia as a major power. Above all, however, Israel has attacked Lebanon, to destroy bases of the Hizbollah, a Muslim group supported by Syria and especially Iran. As I have said in my books the Galactic Underworld is the Apocalypse and there is little reason to expect its course of events to be smooth or unproblematic. It is virtually impossible to imagine a step-by-step process from the present world to oneness.

Israel

As we approach the Fifth day of the Galactic Underworld it then obviously becomes very important to understand the role of Israel. Why, we may wonder, does this country play such a significant role to some of the world religions? Why do the Jews see themselves as a people chosen by God and why do also Christians say that things begin and end with Israel? Why is the Muslim negativity towards Israel so strong and why is Israel so adverse to compromises?

I think a big part of the explanation to this special role of Israel is that many very significant things in human evolution actually did have their origin there. Southwest Asia, including what is today Israel, was where the highest number of domesticable plants and animals existed that allowed humans early on to make the transition to agriculture and a settled life already about 10,000 years ago. Hence, people in this area had a tremendous head start in their cultural development and so it was for instance here that the alphabet was invented as a result of the pulse favoring the left brain in the Third day of the National Underworld. The alphabet, which is the first truly effective form of writing used by humans, was invented by the Jews and the Torah, their holy scripture, is the first book written by means of this, expressing the first monotheist creed of the planet. An enormous emphasis was placed on the written Word that was perceived as an exclusive message from God that was unchangeable. Writing and the concomitant monotheist creed brought about a significant shift in mentality and, since this was not immediately shared by the neighbors, a perception was created by the Jews that they were a people chosen by God.

When the Fifth day of the National Underworld began the Christian religion then had its origin in Israel. The majority of the Jews were however not attracted to this new religion, and following the destruction of the Temple in AD 70 they were dispersed from their country essentially in the Western direction. From the perspective of the Mayan calendar one might speculate that this latter historical event was actually propelled by the marked left brain abstract thinking of the Jews to which the West was more conducive. Regardless, their contributions to Western culture, and economic clout, have been disproportionately high, presumably because of the mentioned head start they had had into abstract left brain thinking.

Also the Quran, consecrated at the midpoint of the Fifth night in AD 632, traces an origin to Abraham and talks extensively about the Jews, whose prophets Moses and Jesus, it acknowledges as such. Yet, similarly to how the Christian church has considered the New Testament as more important than the Old, the Muslims regard the Quran as an all-encompassing supreme message from God.

Following a two thousand year Diaspora the state of Israel was then declared in 1948 thus fulfilling an age-old prophecy of the Jews. This was based on the United Nations partition plan for the British mandate of Palestine made in 1947 as the Fourth World of the Planetary Underworld began. In a broad sense the beginning of this Fourth World was what set the stage for the Galactic Underworld that we are in now and, ever since then, the area has been an area of contention with the neighboring Muslims.

End-time scenarios

Hence, while Jews have been praying three times a day for two thousand years for the restoration of the Temple in Jerusalem, the time has not yet been considered as ready for this. The main reason is that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is occupied by the Muslim al-Aksa Mosque and this religion is guided by quite different prophecies, and another written Word, the Quran. The Jews fear that if a Temple would be built there it would create a Jihad from the entire Muslim world. To Muslims, who see the Quran as the last message from God and envision that the whole world will eventually be Muslim, it is instead a dictum that all land held by Islam should be kept and that land lost to it should be recovered. Hence, the prophecies of the two religions are in direct conflict.

Fundamentalist Christians, especially in the United States, are not indifferent to this conflict and in fact see the scenario playing out as verifying their own prophecies, which is part of the reason for the strong US backing of Israel. These groups expect the Jews to rebuild the temple following which there will be great tribulations that will lead the Jews to accept Jesus as the Messiah. The Muslims on their part expect the appearance of the twelfth imam, Mahdi, as a savior, as well as the return of Jesus, who will then lead the Christians to submit to Islam.

It would take a specialist to describe the various prophecies of Jews, Muslims and Christians and their different interpretations in detail. However, they all seem to include an end time scenario with a final battle (Armaggedon is the town of Megiddo in northern Israel, not very far from either Lebanon or Syria), an Antichrist (who in the Muslim variety is called Dajjal) and a Messiah (or returning Christ), who will rule for different time periods and set their marks on them. In the Christian Revelation this ends with the New Jerusalem, where there is no pain and no sorrow and the past will no longer be. Although the Mayan prophecies obviously do not describe a specific scenario for this part of the world, the Mayan calendar is based on energies such as that of Quetzalcoatl (god of light in the Fifth day) and Tezcatlipoca (god of darkness in Fifth night), which would be favorable to exactly such forces that the Abrahamitic religions prophesize about. In fact, in the time ahead the calendrical energies of the Galactic Underworld probably provide our best guide to know who will represent the future of oneness and who will not.

Based on the ruling energies of time –and parallels to lower Underworlds– we may then expect a scenario somewhat like the following: In the first half of the Fifth day (November 24, 2006 – May 22, 2007) there will be intensified conflicts between the monotheist religions, and especially between Judaism and Islam, where both will seek to have their own prophecies fulfilled. At the same time a minor flow towards oneness will emerge, a flow of people that is the most direct _expression of the breakthrough energy and seek to transcend the conflicts between scriptures. Towards the end of this first half the parties in the conflict will however get stuck (possibly as a result of disaster) and a messianic energy that does not belong to any of the existing religions will have a chance to be expressed in the second half of day 5, May 22– November 19, 2007. This will have global repercussions, but will be followed during the Fifth night, November 19, 2007 –November 12, 2008 by the energy of Tezcatlipoca, the lord of darkness. Especially the first half of this rule may well correspond to what in Revelation language is called the Beast or Antichrist and will mean a return to the materialism of the Planetary Underworld, maybe based on the development of a new monetary system and electronic control on a world wide scale. In the second half of this night (beginning May 17, 2008) we will probably see a loosening of the grip of this reaction, which leads into a wave movement that from our current perspective may best be described as a chaos of divinely guided anarchy lasting for three and a half tun, 1260 days. This time period is also mentioned in the Bible that recognizes the Mayan tun period of 360 days as a prophetic year.

Going back to the present what I feel we have reasons to expect as the energy of the Fifth day enters in November of this year is then that followers of each of these religions will be propelled to see their own prophecies fulfilled and actively strive for this. After all, we are living in the Apocalypse and as this pulse begins all the religious people in the area will be affected and most will act according to what their scriptures seem to be telling them to do. In the changing tides of this wave movement the three Abrahamitic religions will identify different persons and forces as messianic or diabolic depending on their own particular prophetic traditions. While this may not be much discussed in the media with its focus on superficial events it nevertheless provides an undercurrent that plays a decisive role for the course of events in the Middle East. Thus, I do not look upon the current fighting between Israel and Hizbollah as a temporary skirmish, but rather as a prelude to a larger drama during the Fifth day that will include also some more powerful Muslim countries.

While much of the world would like to see a two-state solution in Israel/Palestine the implementation of this has repeatedly been thwarted, essentially as it leaves the religious prophecies of both parties unfulfilled. In reality, such a two-state solution would be implemented as a form of religiously based apartheid and this points to a strange inconsistency in how the world community thinks. While it rightly condemns theories of racial superiority it seems to have accepted that the two religions primarily involved in the area base their political agendas on their respective claims to religious supremacy. I am not advocating the abolishment of the religions as such any more than the abolishment of the races. Nor am I saying that religions have no value, but why does the world community accept claims by any of them that their teaching would make them superior to adherents of other religions. Why do we consider as holy such scriptures that promote ideals of their own supremacy? Why is it that so many people accept as legitimate the thoughts of religious superiority present in the Torah, the Bible and the Quran that are mostly fully explicit? We do not even have a word for ideologies based on religious superiority that would be an appropriate parallel to the word « racism » and so fail to grasp the reality of this phenomenon. While today the term terrorism is widely used it is not the root cause of the problem, since the terrorist activities are not ends in themselves, but means of asserting religious supremacy. What we need is a term such as « religionism », as a parallel to racism, that applies to any religion that seeks to assert its own supremacy. The world has come a long way in dispelling ideologies of racial superiority, but has hardly begun to dispel those of religious superiority. Hence, administrative decisions as to how to carve up the land between Israel and Palestine will never generate a true and heartfelt peace as long as the « religionism » of the parties involved is not transcended.

The majority of humanity is still basing its relationship to the divine on books, seen as holy scriptures, rather than on a direct experience of the divine presence. For the followers of such books the need to see their prophecies be fulfilled takes on an added importance as giving proof of the existence of God and the preeminence of one’s own religion. Holy scriptures were created in the National Underworld as human beings became partially separated from the direct experience of the divine and in a sense they have also served as a replacement for this experience, and this is the root of « religionism ».

Thus, people will react to the breakthrough pulse of the Fifth day depending on where they are coming from and what religious context they form part of. It is realistic to expect that many unresolved conflicts of the world will come to surface then and this is especially true for those areas of the planet, which have the longest history of dualist left brain dominance such as the Middle East. It should be pointed out here that Islam, even though it has spread predominantly in the Eastern hemisphere, is as much of a dualist left brain religion as the Jewish. Its strong left brain character is obvious in that, like Judaism, it bans pictures and sculptures from the Mosques as being idolatry. Both religions in other words try to curb the use of the right brain half that sees images or visions, expresses the feminine and uses intuition. The contact with the divine should in the fundamentalist varieties of these religions not be based on experience, but exclusively on the written Word of their scriptures. It is exactly this dualist relationship to God that fosters attitudes of religious supremacy. Thus, the right brain pulse of the Fifth day of the Galactic Underworld may come to shake the balance of both these left-brain religions and very possibly many will react defensively.

On a global scale, this pulse will however weaken the power of the West and hence of Israel. If we add to this that the days are the periods that seem to be hit the hardest by natural catastrophes and that the US dollar likely will dramatically fall as the Fifth day begins, then we have every reason to expect that its upcoming energy will create fundamentally altered relationships in the world. It is entirely possible that, like the Fifth day of the Planetary Underworld (that brought World War I), the Fifth day of the Galactic will bring a catastrophe to the Middle East and that only as people recognize the dimensions of this will an opening to a path towards oneness be created.

Energy that unifies the light

What the Mayan calendar tells us is however that the cosmic plan is not for the world to come to an end. Besides, even if its energies will favor certain general trends and alterations of relationships, human beings have a choice as to how to respond to these, which may influence the course of events for the better or for the worse. In fact, even if we have reasons to believe that the majority in the Middle East engages in a battle along the old front lines defined by the dualist religions, there will also emerge expressions of the unification of the left and right brain mentalities that would be truly messianic as it provides a path towards oneness. The reason we may expect this is that the Galactic Underworld favors the right brain half and this change in the global field helps to make the minds of people whole. Although, such a spiritual wholeness, unfettered by scriptures of supremacy, may already exist in a minority in the region it will also grow throughout the time period ruled by the energy of Quetzalcoatl and become especially visible in its second half. It will not be favoring any of the existing patriarchal religions in the area, but will be one that seeks to transcend the influence of scriptures that call for supremacy. It will be a movement that see all human beings as equal in the eyes of God and recognizes that the separation between them is generated by the religions created by the human beings. It is an _expression of people who realize that to God all of humanity is His /Her children and does not favor any particular religion over the others.

The New Jerusalem

I believe that the beginning of a true peace process must start exactly with such a realization. No administrative measures that any party would grudgingly accept would lead to a real peace. The only way true and heartfelt peace could come about in this area is if groups of people there and elsewhere truly give up all claims to religious superiority or callings to subordinate those of other religions. It is possible that such an insight will come only as a reaction to a disastrous war, but it will come. Of course, if the Muslims invited the Jews to share the Temple Mount to build a temple there and share it also with a Christians church then this would be peace. If the Jews truly invited the Palestinians to share the area that they now control, and even gave up the claim to a separate Jewish state, then there would be peace. I feel in the eyes of God the religion that He/She would love the most is the one that gives up its claim to exclusivity, since this would pave the way for peace also everywhere. The truly spiritual people in the area are the ones that will seek to transcend the limitations of the scriptures, Torah, Bible and Quran, which to a large extent have been used to legitimize superiority. The truly spiritual people in the area are the ones that realize that in the Galactic Underworld national and religious borders are of the past and must be transcended. Maybe the real calling of Israel, and the reason that a conflict has arisen there again involving some of the world’s largest religions, is that the balancing of the left brain dominance must begin exactly where it first emerged. Maybe God’s calling for Israel/Palestine is that it should be a land where all religions belong, and the place where these, under the influence of the consciousness field of the Galactic Underworld were able to transcend their differences. Only such a multireligious presence in the area would pave the way to a New Jerusalem. In fact, when it is heartfelt it would be the New Jerusalem. This would be to join the alpha and the omega and would mean the return to Eden on a new and higher level.

Obviously, some would say that this perspective is utterly naive, but then again has anyone ever really been attempted to put it into practice? Billions of people have prayed for the victory of their own religion in Israel, but how many have prayed or wished that no religion should be victorious and in fact that the ancient scriptures should be transcended? So I think people everywhere should start by asking themselves if they really would like to see a transformation of Israel/Palestine into a multireligious country or not. Undoubtedly the biggest challenge is for those who live in the area, but since the current situation is threatening the peace of the rest of the world also people in other areas have a right to work towards solving the conflict. Since more than half of the population on Earth belong to the Abrahamitic religions or at least their contexts many people also outside of the area have a direct opportunity to participate in the creation of a deeper peace. We have the right to have our own visions regardless of if they fit into the supremacy schemes of these religions. Hence, while Jerusalem may be a focus of conflict it also poses an opportunity because in as much as the rest of the world can contribute to peace here it can contribute to a lasting peace everywhere.

The task may seem monumental, but so did once the task of combating racism. I should also say that I think it may be too general to simply pray for peace. We need to be more specific and pray for concrete expressions of tearing down the walls between the scripture based religions. A possible thing is to pray for a Mosque, a Church and a Temple to share the Temple Mount. A possible thing is to pray that no religion in the area will come out as victorious against the others. In many, the reaction to this very thought will reveal a dualist mentality in ourselves and so it becomes obvious that we are ourselves part of the problem that has created the conflict in the Middle East. Hence follows the importance of developing spiritual practices and tools, such as dikshas and meditations, that help ourselves to be part of the evolution towards oneness that the global creation field of the Galactic Underworld increasingly will favor. Since more than half the population of the planet have a background in the Abrahamitic religions any enlightening experiences may be very significant for preparing the messianic path to oneness.

Hence, individual transformation towards oneness is part of creating peace in the external world and no one needs to be a bystander. In fact, the most dangerous enemy may be the defeatism in ourselves. The breakthrough celebration will continue throughout the Ahau days of the Mayan calendar with different events and may be a very significant resource for those who want to develop a path to peace. BREAKTHROUGH CELEBRATION

We are now rapidly approaching the kick-off date (May 27-28, 2006) of the Breakthrough Celebration (see www.breakthroughcelebration.com) and so this may be the time to discuss some of what we may expect from the time ahead. Before doing so it may however be in its place to look at what has already happened in the first half of the Fourth NIGHT, which started on November 29, 2005. In an article that I sent out around the time of the beginning of this NIGHT I made the prediction that its first half in an external sense would be relatively uneventful. I feel this prediction has been essentially verified and for instance there have been no major catastrophes, political upheavals or warfare starting in this period although some small signs have appeared, such as the election of the Hamas and the new Bolivian and Chilean presidents, that herald the end to western dominance in the world. These are however hardly to be qualified as events that have captured the attention of people at large.

This lack of external turbulence does not mean that the Galactic Underworld has come to a halt although this is how it might have been experienced by many. Whenever a NIGHT begins, such as was the case last November, we must expect a shift to inner processing and this is especially true for those that have missions influencing the spiritual destiny of the world. Hence, many have experienced the recent past months as a time when the universe has come to a standstill and have seen very little flow in their projects.

Why is this? we may ask. Well, to begin with it is exactly what we would expect from our current phase of the Galactic Underworld. Early May of this year corresponded energetically to the year 1900 in the Planetary Underworld. This was a time of ennui that was expressed in the cultural movement known in Europe as "Fin de Siecle". Despite all the new inventions that had been made in the Fourth DAY (1873-1893) of this Underworld a feeling of boredom and even stuckness became marked around the last turn of the century. Really, this had nothing to do with the turn of the century, as some might have thought, but with the cosmic energy ruling at that time. This lack of a drive forward at the time was also reflected in the world of science, where the idea then arose that there was nothing more to discover and the same feeling of emptiness came to be shared by many of the very rich in the US.

Of course, the Galactic Underworld conditioning our consciousness at the present time is not of the same materialist character as then and so those that have come to experience a sense of stuckness are instead those that are carrying the most important seeds of tomorrow, those working for oneness. The sense of stuckness is thus in fact exactly what should be expected from the current phase of the Mayan calendar and is not an anomaly. A possible metaphor to use is that the divine energy has been like when the water goes out before a new strong wave is coming in.

As a result of this recent relative standstill of the universe we have also seen an unusual amount of inhouse fighting in many different spiritual movements, which has served to expose much that has been ego-driven. There is no reason to judge negatively that things have been ego-driven in many quarters. In fact, sometimes the need of the ego for recognition is the only force that is strong enough to getting something done and humanity needs to be grateful for many of the things that have come out of it. Nonetheless, I think that now, as we approach the midpoint of the Fourth NIGHT, ego needs to be recognized as such because we are approaching a new pulse of light - that of the Fifth DAY beginning on November 24, 2006 - when ego needs to be seen as it is. The point to realize is that we are all to some extent motivated by ego and this needs to be seen rather than judged.

The midpoint of the Fourth NIGHT carries a shift even though it does not mean that the actual breakthrough energy has yet been activated. This shift point, which is the beginning of the Breakthrough Celebration, will however mean that the tide will be turning and so in the next half year we will see a number of phenomena that herald the breakthrough energy of the Fifth DAY. Yet, even after the beginning of the latter this feeling of stuckness and that things are not flowing may persist. Take for instance the breakthrough of democracy and the modern world in the Fifth DAY of the Planetary Underworld (1913-1932), which only manifested towards its second half after the old world had become completely stuck in World War I. Maybe we can also see a parallel in the breakthrough of Christianity in the Fifth DAY of the National Underworld, which only happened on a massive scale after the Roman empire had become completely stuck and unable to rule based on its pagan religion. Nonetheless, in the end the flow of the Fifth DAY in both cases meant a big movement forward for those that were carriers of the breakthrough phenomena. So what is it that is going to break through in the Underworld that we are in now, which the Breakthrough Celebration is designed to support?

Generally speaking it is a shift towards balance in the world, a shift away from western and left brain dominance. The first four pulses of light of this Underworld have been more or less preparatory and shifting the balance only in small increments, compared to the actual breakthrough that is now about to come. Since everything that exists around us is a product of the evolution of consciousness, we must then expect this breakthrough to affect everything in the general direction towards right brain strengthening.

Yet, it is also possible to be more specific as to the types of changes that are about to emerge. If we look at geopolitics, it seems very likely that there will be a dramatic downfall of the value of the US dollar as we come to the Fifth DAY, with very far reaching consequences for the international economy. In my article about the beginning of the Fourth NIGHT I pointed to the likely implementation of the Iranian oil bourse in the immediate time ahead and such an oil bourse, the first to trade oil for euros, was in fact registered on May 5th. According to a recent speach by the Iranian president this will no longer be selling oil for dollars as of July. If this was not enough, Russia's president

Vladimir Putin announced on May 15 that Russia will now institute a similar exchange that will only trade oil for rubles. Considering the enormous trade deficit of the US the value of the dollar has essentially only been kept up by the petrodollar system and the need for anyone wanting to buy oil to have US dollars in his possession. This system is now about to fall as many countries will try to get rid of their stock of American dollars whose value has been kept at an artificially high level because of the petrodollar system. The Russian exchange is not scheduled to take effect until Day Five and is likely to be a much more important event than the inauguration of the Iranian given that many are hesitant to the religious agenda of Iran and may not want to be involved with its bourse. In the case of Russia, it currently has such a strong control of much of the world's energy resources that there are many countries that do not have a choice. Unlike the US, Russia does not need to fight wars in foreign countries to maintain this hold.

I have previously pointed to the rise of China and India as emerging engines of the world economy as examples of the form the strengthening of the Eastern hemisphere takes at this particular time. As we enter the Fifth DAY, a new phenomenon will however be added to this strengthening: The return of Russia as a superpower. It is hard to see this happening in terms of military power, but this is really immaterial at the present state of an emerging energy shortage in much of the world. Russia cannot be easily attacked and occupied by an outside power like Iraq. Russia has already grown to become the world's largest producer of oil and its emerging superpower status will be based on the control it currently has over the distribution of oil and gas in the world. Not even the military power of the US can change this fact and we will see a very significant shift towards the power of the East as the Fifth DAY begins, especially as some of its leading powers, China, Russia and Iran seem to be on fairly good working terms with each others. The return of Russia as a superpower is in general terms consistent with the shift towards the North that takes place in the Underworlds after they pass their midpoints.

To some this geopolitical power shift may seem to have little to do with the process towards oneness in the spiritual sense, but in reality oneness can only be based on a balance of our brain hemispheres and this in turn is always a holographic resonance product of the balancing of the hemispheres of the planet. So even if it is likely that the power shift in the world that we are now about to witness will have many of the ingredients of greed and exploitation that characterize the world of politics and economics it is nonetheless definitely an integral part of the cosmic plan and the balance that it brings prepares the ground for the later reaching of the goal of oneness. Especially for those that currently feel stuck it is important to realize that these goals can only be fulfilled stepwise in phase with the various DAYS of the Galactic Underworld. There is no way we human beings can alter the stepwise cosmic plan for the evolution of consciousness. All we can do is to make individual choices within the framework that this provides.

Yet, even if the first half of the Fifth DAY will be dominated by a new geopolitical balance I expect that towards its second half we will see the path towards oneness emerging as a mass phenomenon involving many that would today be qualified as mainstream people. What more than anything else characterizes the Fifth DAY is the immense broadening of the phenomena that were advanced in small increments during the preceding DAYS. Mainstream interest in the cosmic plan will probably be significantly increased by the release of Mel Gibson's movie Apocalypto, which was recently postponed from August 4 to December 8, to coincide with the onset of the Fifth DAY of the Galactic Underworld. Regardless of the actual content of this movie it seems obvious that it will raise questions about the meaning of the Mayan calendar and the cosmic plan on an unprecedented scale among mainstream people. Its release within the energetic context of the rule of Quetzalcoatl (Fifth DAY) will only add to this importance and it will become possible for people to be educated as never before as to the meaning of the Galactic Underworld and how it charts the stepwise path towards oneness. For everyone working to bring about a transformation to oneness in the Fifth DAY, with whatever practice or within whatever movement, I feel it is important to be prepared that the people that today would be called mainstream will have a process of their own. The mainstream of people simply will not have time to devote themselves to years of esoteric schooling or testing out of different spiritual practices. The mainstream will have to find its own path towards oneness that is more direct and simpler than for those who have been pioneers for a long time.

The field change brought about by the Fifth DAY will influence all aspects of human life and cannot be detailed here. For each particular realm of human life we need to take a look at how its particular expressions were actually moulded by the left-brain dominance of the National Underworld and then try to predict what would happen if this dominance was significantly balanced by a breakthrough energy of right brain half (holistic and intuitive) that will be coming in. An obvious field that will be influenced is that of health, medicine and healing, where we will see unprecedented forms of holistic and vibrational medicine emerge.

I want to present this as a general background to the beginning of the Breakthrough Celebration on the days 9 Ahau and 10 Imix (May 27-28, 2006). The events that are being planned around the world at this time are only the beginning -putting a new gear in place - of the process of generating a flow towards oneness that the breakthrough energy will facilitate. In a sense it is like the beginning of the climb of a hill for which a lower gear is needed and those that will try to go faster than this will only find themselves stuck and unable to move. The Breakthrough Celebration (www.breakthroughcelebration.com) is a series of events conducted on Mayan Ahau dates, especially marked by the midpoint of the Fourth NIGHT (May 27, 2006), the beginning of the Fifth DAY (November 24, 2006) and the midpoint of the Fifth DAY (May 22, 2007). These are significant energy shifts in the Mayan calendar and the cosmic plan and I feel that whatever we do we should be observant of them. Unfortunately, knowledge of the true Mayan calendar is still very limited among spiritually oriented people at large, but the information is unstoppable and is getting out. The idea behind the Breakthrough Celebration is that it should serve to unify and generate a common flow among all those movements among humanity that have a sincere desire for the attainment of a global state of oneness. This desire is shared by so many individuals and movements that embrace different spiritual practices and often understandings of the cosmos as well. The idea of the Breakthrough Celebration is however that these different movements should all flourish as they are, but that we should follow the same rhythm of the cosmic plan to develop this process in concert with each other.

The Breakthrough Celebration
is a Global Process leading into the Quetzalcoatl/Christ
energy of the Fifth DAY

People often ask the question what, according to the Mayan calendar, will
happen in the time ahead. In a sense this is a natural question to ask and in my books I have
addressed how the Mayan calendar describes cosmic evolution in all of its aspects from the
Big Bang 16.4 billion years ago to the present time. Indeed we may now learn a lot from its
patterns. Yet, sometimes when people ask this question it seems they think that the changes
that the Mayan calendar describe are happening outside of themselves or the human collective
at large. I would say that this is a false perception. If there is anything we may learn from the
Mayan calendar then it is that it is a strict time plan for the evolution of consciousness and
that this plan very much includes ourselves at the present time. The process of evolution of
consciousness is now primarily transforming the human beings and not our external reality.
Or, in other words; we are the ones we have been waiting for! We are the ones whose
consciousness is undergoing transformation. The Mayan calendar only helps the patterns of
this transformation become visible and understandable. As the consciousness of humanity is
transformed so is the external world that we are to a large extent creating through our
perception of it. I feel it is very important to grasp these relationships: The transformation of
the world in the years ahead happens through the transformation of consciousness of
ourselves and the true Mayan calendar is an exact time plan for this. The very idea of asking
what will happen emanates from a dualist relationship to the external reality that has been
inherited from lower Underworlds.

As I recently described in an article

we entered the Fourth NIGHT of the Galactic Underworld as of November 29, 2005. As I point
out there we may understand some of what this means through parallels with other
Underworlds. Essentially the first half of this Fourth NIGHT is a time for integration of the
alteration of consciousness that was brought by the preceding Fourth DAY. What on an
individual level some would typically experience is then that the past catches up with them,
and this may especially be true for those for whom the Fourth DAY was a very transformative
period. Things we did not have to deal with in the flow of the Fourth DAY may now be
knocking on our doors and in some cases we may need to set in breaks on our paths. The
integrative character of the Fourth NIGHT favors making amends and healing relationships that might have been upset by the influx of the stirring energies of the Fourth DAY. It also seems there are many that in the beginning of this Fourth NIGHT are cleansing and restoring their bodies. This may not be so much about integration as it is a meaningful preparation for the
time to come and the onset of the Quetzalcoatl energy of the Fifth DAY. In short, as I
described in the above mentioned article, the first half of the Fourth NIGHT is about integrating
and preparing for the strong influx of light on the right brain half that is about to enter
especially as the Fifth DAY begins on November 24, 2006.

The incoming energy of the Fifth DAY will be much stronger than anything we
have previously experienced in the Galactic Underworld. The Fifth DAY is the breakthrough
energy that previously, in another Underworld (level of consciousness evolution) brought
Christianity, and at yet another Underworld the modern world, into existence. The Mayan
calendar describes the alternating energies of the cosmos that transform consciousness and
create the world. What we need to do is to learn how to flow with these energies that shape
our future and help bring the path towards Oneness to the rest of the world. Thus, we should
already now start to prepare for and consider how best to make use of the breakthrough
energy of the Fifth DAY. For this to happen we will need to put in a new gear and the name I
suggest for this gear is the Breakthrough Celebration.

This Breakthrough Celebration is not just a one time event, but a culmination of
a global process of transformation of consciousness as we may understand it from the Mayan
calendar. Thus, although the rhythm of this process may already be set in the heavens its
actual manifestation will need to be developed in a co-creative way among all people of the
planet that seek to align themselves with the intended end result of divine creation: Oneness
in Enlightenment. The Breakthrough Celebration is designed to provide direction, intention
and guidance for this process and it will do so for a critical time: namely the onset of the Fifth
DAY of the Galactic Underworld.

What I am suggesting here is for every lightworker, and everyone seeking
enlightenment for themselves and the rest of humanity, to participate in a process of globally
synchronized prayer, diksha and meditation days that will help lead humanity into the Fifth
DAY of the Galactic Underworld and then make maximal use of its incoming energies for
balancing, healing and enlightenment. The Oneness Celebration at the occasion of the Venus
Transit (June 6-8, 2004) helped prepare the ground for this by more broadly alerting people to
the fact that we are entering the completion phase of the divine plan, and the Midlight
Meditation (June 1-2, 2005) served to globally synchronize dikshas and meditations. The
Breakthrough Celebration is intended as a sequence of energies that will provide a structure
for events and festivals that will allow at least part of the human collective to go much deeper
and develop a process towards enlightenment in a synchronized way. It is literally now or
never for a collective breakthrough into the experience of oneness considering what we know
about the energies to follow after the Fifth DAY. I feel it is time to throw out all ideas that the
Mayan calendar is about waiting for something to happen in the year 2012. The true Mayan
calendar is about a process that we moment by moment may be part of if we so chose and if a
sufficiently strong positive desire for experiencing Oneness can be brought forth. For this I
encourage an explorative and dynamic process where only the dates are fixed to develop a
maximal wind in the back from the power of synchronicity.

The initiating date, the take-off for the process of the Breakthrough Celebration,
will be the shortly upcoming midpoint, 9 Ahau and 10 Imix, of the Fourth NIGHT, which in the
Gregorian calendar corresponds to the dates May 27-28, 2006. In the Sacred Mayan Calendar
used for thousands of years, 9 Ahau at this midpoint is a combination of the 9, which
symbolizes Quetzalcoatl, and Ahau, which means light or lord. Traditionally Ahau days, or
days of light, were such energies for ceremonies among the ancient Maya. We may actually
then now catch on to the very same rhythm that will continue until the field of cosmic oneness
is established on the day energy of 13 Ahau on October 28, 2011. Since the process of the
Galactic Underworld is about strengthening the Eastern/right brain half aspects of our
existence I encourage themes of “Awakening the World Mother within” or “Unifying the
Divine Father and Mother within” for take-off events for the Breakthrough Celebration on
May 27-28, 2006. This is especially so as this Underworld is a phase of cosmic evolution that
step by step brings forth the feminine to heal the rift and separation that occurred about 5000
years ago as the National Underworld began. I recommend that the global diksha community
initiate or participate in events and festivals organized for this take-off of the Breakthrough
Celebration. In general I recommend that anyone planning for spiritual events in this time to
come does so with an eye to the Oneness in Light (Ahau) days of the Mayan Calendar.
Following this take-off at 9 Ahau and 10 Imix, May 27-28, there is thus a series of
recommended Oneness in Light dates that I have listed below. These are also presented in an
attachment to this mail and will be posted at my web site www.calleman.com pending the

Global World Tree Ceremony

For the global synchronization I recommend that dikshas are performed on these Ahau
(Oneness in Light) days at 6.00, 12.00 and/or 18.00 European Central Time,
(9 pm (previous night), 3 am and 9 am PST) (12 pm, 9 am and 3 pm EST)
and the corresponding times for Asia and Australia. Possible peaks generated by a focused
collective consciousness will as was the case with the Midlight Meditation be monitored
through the Global Consciousness Project.

To perform prayers, dikshas and meditations globally synchronized on these Ahau (Oneness
in Light) days will serve to synchronize the global spiritual community with the divine
process of creation. I call especially on the global diksha community to help bring in the
divine presence in this process that this movement is all about in this phase of humanity’s
evolution. The Fifth DAY may very well lead to the very ability to give diksha being passed on
from one individual to another especially if the Breakthrough Celebration generates the
necessary flow. Yet, I feel there are many other practices including field transforming
techniques that will contribute significantly in the process towards Oneness. In fact, I am
convinced that some of these innovative phenomena have not yet seen the light of the day but
are about to do so during the period covered by the Breakthrough Celebration. To accomodate
and support such creativity I feel the process should be approached in a spirit of mutual
sharing that fosters the necessary cross-fertilization between ideas and spiritual practices.

Thus, I feel that the dates above should be approached with an attitude of service also to the
many other movements and organizations that may happen to organize events and festivals on
these dates. There is every reason to let global diksha and meditation events continue also in
later phases of the Galactic Underworld at Ahau (Oneness in Light) days, which are the most
conducive to enlightenment. The very purpose of the Breakthrough Celebration is to serve a
global breakthrough into experiencing the divine presence. Part of its purpose is also a
breakthrough into experiencing the Mayan calendar, that is to say the divine time plan, and its
rhythm. This by itself will turn out to be invaluable for providing guidance and hope for
humanity in some of the more difficult energies it will go through until the cosmic field of
Oneness is established in the heavens on October 28, 2011.

Carl Johan Calleman is the author of two books about the cosmic time plan: The Mayan
Calendar (Garev 2001) and The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness
(Bear and Co, 2004). He initiated the global Oneness Celebration of June 2004 and the
Midlight Meditation of June 2005. He was one of the main speakers at the conference on the
Mayan calendar organized by the Indigenous Council of the Americas in Merida Mexico,
1998 and lectures and gives courses on this topic throughout the world. He has a doctorate in
Physical Biology from the University of Stockholm and was a Senior Researcher of
