Dear Friends of the Mayan Calendar,

The Mayan Calendar Portal (www.maya-portal.net), the portal site for all things Mayan Calendar, will shortly be relaunched. The new site will retain the original design, but will present a comprehensive site overhaul, including all of its navigation and content. An international media campaign will then follow.

The new site, MCP 2.0, will be much more interactive and will feature the stories of people and organizations actively living with the Mayan Calendar from all over the world. We want you to be among the first to have your stories featured on the new site and the producers of the portal is reaching out to friends of the Mayan calendar everywhere.

We want to hear from those of you who are using the Mayan Calendar in your lives, whether on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, or are just starting to integrate it into your life. Just send an email to us at maya@lucita.net, with your responses to the questions that you see below. For those of you wishing to submit videos, photos and audio files please email us the links if you've got it online, or contact us if you need to submit them directly.

You can also learn more here: http://www.lucita.net/projects/the-mayan-calendar-portal/submit_story

The portal will also be updated with new links across the world to web sites that honor the traditional sacred calendar count and also see the process of evolution as the result of nine superimposed wave movements that went by the name Underworlds. That this is part of the ancient Mayan view has recently been highlighted again with the discovery of the Tortuguero Monument 6, which describes that at the end date Nine gods will descend. Knowing that to the Maya gods were cosmic forces associated with certain time periods this strengthens the case that we are approaching a point in time when Nine Cosmic Forces will manifest. Web sites and blogs that adhere to this traditional Mayan view are welcome to be part of the portal. (Contact cjcalleman@swipnet.se).

Please feel free to forward this message to friends and colleagues.

Namaste and In Lak'ech,

Birgitte Rasine, Michael Shore and Carl Johan Calleman
